So once again I’ve broken my blog updating promises and have let far too much time go by before updating. Although most of you know that I’m in the middle of a bit of a personal crisis. Because of that I don’t really have a lot of stuff to say. I was going to throw up some images of my second term but I actually working on that stuff into the summer. In the mean time I thought I’d put up some images of my trip to Chicago way back near the middle of the term. Chicago was amazing. I was shocked at how much I liked the city. I had expected a much more muscle-y American city. They take their architecture VERY seriously and the city itself is exciting, public and lively at least at its centre. AND, the whole damn city smells like chocolate due to a major factory right near downtown. What could be better! They also love shiny things which worked out well for me! I went back to see the Anish Kapoor sculpture every day. It’s my favorite thing there. It may look like just a ginourmous shiny bean but it’s incredibly sophisticated and dynamic once you are in front/under it. I was surprised at my reaction to a lot of the Frank Lloyd Wright stuff. Maybe it’s over exposed. I appreciated it but wasn’t really moved to gushing. Other than that and a couple of Gherys the only other favorite was the Toledo glass museum. What a CRAZY M_F-ing building. I suggest you at least Google it. Toledo is nothing too special but the building is insane and beautiful and right across form a great little neo-classical museum building and an older Ghery. Worth the visit to the sleepy lil’ place.

As for recently, I'm just hanging out with the family as much as possible and taking on each day as it comes. Most of the time I forget I’m even in Red Deer. I miss you all. Once this firestorm is over you will all hear alot from me cuz I'll be fairly needy. Until then...love you all

This one was called everything from an anti-autonomous sidewalk to a giant pixelated va-J-J.
